Educational Qualification :- i) Passed SSC or equivalence with Physics and Chemistry + Passed the Divisional Officer’s course from the National Fire Service College or CISF Fire Training Centre.

Or

Graduate or Associate member of Institute of Fire Engineers from India or London.

Experience Required :- Essential minimum experience of 06 years and serviced not below the rank of Station Officer.

ii) B.E. in Fire Engineering.

Experience Required :- Essential minimum experience of 02 years and serviced not below the rank of Station Officer.

Or

Graduate of Institute of Fire Engineers from India or London.

Experience Required :- Essential minimum experience of 05 years and serviced not below the rank of Sub Officer.

ii) B.E. in Fire Engineering.

Note :- i) Not having above experience, the candidate must have 03 years of experience after obtaining the necessary qualification and for candidates not having B.E. (Fire) Engineering.

ii) Should have valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.

Experience Required :- Essential minimum experience of 12 years as leading Fireman or 15 years as Fireman or Driver-cum-Operator in a recognised Civil/Industrial Fire Service Station.

Note :- i) Not having above experience, the candidate must have 02 years of experience after obtaining the necessary qualification for Sub-Officer/B.

ii) Candidates having valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence will be preferred.


Age Limit :- Not more than 40 years as on 24/04/2017. Relaxation in age will be given candidates having higher experience and outstanding merit.

Experience Required :- Essential minimum experience of 08 years as Fireman or Drive-cum-Operator in a well established fire services organisation.

ii) Sub Officers Course from the National Fire Service College. Candidates having valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence will be given preference.

Experience Required :- Essential minimum experience of 07 years as Fireman or Drive-cum-Operator in a well established fire services organisation.

Note :- i) Not having above experience, the candidate must have 03 years of experience after obtaining the necessary qualification for Leading Fireman/A.

Educational Qualification :  As essential qualification, candidates should be praveshikoteern (Entry Level Education).

Note : Certificate from equivalent to 10th class from Hindi University Deoghar will not be valid.

Salary : After selection, candidates will get salary as Pay Band of PB-I Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 plus Grade Pay of Rs 2,000.

Examination Format for India Reserve Battalion General Constable Competitive Examination 2017

The examination will be conducted into three phase as below:

  • Phase 1 – OMR based examination
  • Phase 2 – Physical Fitness Test
  • Phase 3 – Medical Fitness Test

 

Phase 1 – OMR based examination

All questions will be based on both objective and multi choice answers. Each question will carry 03 marks. For each correct answer candidate will get 03 marks and for wrong answer 01 marks will be deducted.

In case of the two lakh applicants, OMR based examination for each paper will be conducted separately but in one shift.

In case of more than two lakhs applicants, they will be divided into two groups and the examination will be divided into two shifts for each paper. Then normalization will be done for the candidate’s marks. On the basis of normalization, a merit list will be prepared.

There will be two papers, first paper will be General Knowledge and second paper will be Language knowledge.

First paper will consists of 120 questions and the division of questions are as follows:

  • General Studies  – 40 questions
  • Question related to Jharkhand state – 50 questions
  • General Science  – 20 questions
  • General Mathematics  – 10 questions

Second paper – It will have two subdivisions. First division will be based on article based and grammar based which will consist of 40 questions. Also in this subdivision, there will be 20 questions for General English knowledge and grammar. In the second subdivision, applicants have to give examination among any one of the subjects Hindi/English/Urdu/Santhali/Bangla/Mundari/Munda/Ho/Kharia/Uraon/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchparigniya/Odiya/Sanskrit. There will be 60 questions based on the selected subject.



Phase 2 – Physical Fitness Test

i) According to Kandika 6, height and chest measurement will be examined. Only the height of women will be measured.

Phase 3 – Medical Fitness Test

Medical council will test the Physical makeup like bend knee, Sagittarius legs, flat feet, do not bend fingers properly, visual impairments, colour blindness/night blindness, hearing aid, stammering and any kind of infectious disease / mental illness .





 

How to Apply for India Reserve Battalion General Constable Competitive Examination 2017

Application will be accepted through online only which can be filled through official website www.jssc.in or www.jssc.nic.in by clicking Online Application for IRBGCCE-2017.

Instruction for filling Online Application

E-mail ID and mobile number which must be valid for at least one year from the date of application. Under no circumstances, he / she should share /mention registration number to any other person. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he / she should create his / her new email ID before applying Online. Only one registration is allowed from one mobile number and one email ID.

  • The registration process is divided into two parts
    a) Basic Registration – this is for generating the Application Number.
    b) Detailed Registration – in this process further details have to be submitted and Application Fee is to be paid.
  • Firstly, candidates are requested to go to official website www.jssc.in or www.jssc.nic.in and click Online Application for IRBGCCE-2017.
  • Then register your self by providing appropriate details.
  • After the registration gets completed, a message will be displayed and also delivered to candidate’s mobile number and email containing registration number and password.
  • For subsequent logins, use the system-generated Application Number as ‘Login ID’ and your Date of Birth as ‘Password’.
  • Under ‘Detailed Registration’, candidates will have to fill up additional details such as Personal details, Address for Correspondence, Educational Details etc., followed by Payment of fee through SBI Collect, then uploading of Photograph and signature to complete the Registration.
  • On the date after which you complete the basic registration process, log back after midday at 12:00 and pay the examination fee.
  • The candidates are requested to login again once payment made using SBI Collect, after three days to upload the scanned (digital) image of his / her Photograph and Signature as per the specifications given on the website. Candidates should first scan the photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature are saved in PC/Laptop.
  • Take print out of filled application form and keep it safe for future use.

Number of Vacancy : The total number of vacancies are 17.

Salary : Selected candidates will get salary as Pay Scale of Rs 51,550-1230-58,930-1380-63,070.

Age : As on 31/01/2016, Candidate’s age should be above 35 years but below 45 years. Age relaxation of 03 years 0n upper age limit will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

Education Qualification : Candidates should posses Graduation in Law from a recognized University enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.

Selection Process for Jharkhand High Court Recruitment 2017 for District Judges

Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the following examination:

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination
  • Viva-Voice Test

 

Test Pattern of Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will of 100 marks in aggregate in which 02 hours time duration will be given to answer the question. This examination will test the knowledge of candidates in the following areas:

  • General English
  • General Knowledge (including Current Affairs)
  • C.P.C.
  • Cr.P.C.
  • Evidence Act.
  • Law of Contract.
  • IPC

Note : There will be negative marks of 01 for attempting wrong answer.

 

Test Pattern of Main Examination

The Main Examination will consist of Paper-I and Paper-II and the examination will be conducted in two shitting in which 03 hours will be given for each paper to answer the question.

Paper-I

The Paper-I will be further divided into two parts, Part-I and Part-II.

Part-I will of 50 marks and will be conducted to test the knowledge in the English language field.

Part-II will of 50 marks and will be conducted to test the knowledge in the following fields:

Test Pattern of Viva-Voice Test

This test will be of 40 marks. The marks obtained in this test will be added to the marks obtained in the Main Examination to prepare the merit list.

If any candidate will secure less than 20 marks in the Viva-Voice Test, then he/she will not be considered for the above vacant post irrespective of the marks obtained in the main examination.

Note : Differently abled candidate will be allowed extra 20 minutes for each hour of written examination.
